We´re on our way to Colombia but have managed to squeeze in a couple of cheeky cervezas and tapas in Barajas. It´s been very strange to arrive in Madrid and not leave the airport!
Yesterday was certainly eventful. All was on track with our packing done when after trying to deposit some money into our account, the cashpoint decided to shut down and swallow the card. Oh dear. No cashcard for the trip. Luckily we had more than one card to fall back on so still able to access cash. Phew.
Now preparing ourselves for 11 hours on the plane and an evening arrival in Bogota. First destination is the Cranky Croc Hostel, obviously very much influenced by Latin culture.
